Dental Exam

A routine dental exam is nothing to be afraid of, and is an essential piece of the puzzle when it comes to maintaining your dental health. Dr. Jagoda Samulak recommends a check-up every three to six months. These exams are designed to help ensure that any existing problem is detected and treated early - saving your mouth, and your wallet, a lot of challenges!

During your routine dental exam, your teeth will be inspected for any signs of tooth decay, tartar, and plaque. The dentist will also check for any evidence of gum diseases, such as discoloration or swelling. A dental cleaning will be performed to remove buildup and surface stains. X-rays may be required in certain cases.
